It is equipped with a backlight that is capable of providing contrast and lighting to screen at a minimum lifespan of 50,000 hrs when operated at the recommended temperature of 40 Degree Celsius or 104 Degree Fahrenheit. It allows operator to initiate control inputs, data change commands and navigation actions via the analog resistive touchscreen that is rated to operate up to 1 million actuation at an operating force of 100 grams.

The 2711P-T19C22A9P is especially compatible communicating with Allen-Bradley’s modern Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platform, the Logix family of controllers such as the CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers. It can also communicate with the previous controller platform and 3rd party devices. Communication with these devices is through the dual Ethernet communication interfaces that supports Ethernet network topologies specifically linear, star and Device Level Ring (DLR).

The power consumption of this module is a maximum 50W (2.1 A at 24 V DC). This module has a flash memory of 512 MB. This module is equipped with 512 MB of RAM (with 80 MB free user memory).
