This PanelView port has the capability to communicate through: DH-485 communication using a serial connection, DF1 full-duplex exchanges with controllers via direct or modem connections, and third-party point-to-point communication. This port works with application transfers and printing as well. The serial port is a 9-pin, male, RS-232 connector, with a cable length of 15.24 meters. The RS-232 serial port supports uploads and downloads between the terminal and a computer with a direct connection.
