The 2711P-T9W21D8S comes with Two (2) USB interfaces allowing insertion of USB flash drive, USB mouse, USB keyboard, printers and other external peripherals. It has a single Ethernet communication port, used to exchanged data with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). It has an integrated 512 MB RAM and 512 MB internal storage and an additional 80 MB user memory.

Its display screen comes with a color TFT LCD and 18-bit color graphics and it uses monitor applications from a remote location through VNC connectivity. The 2711P-T9W21D8S has a Micro SD card slot to support copying and restoring the operator interface quickly. Additionally, the series has some special features that allow the operator to receive email and text notifications.
