Information About 2AX3000

The Reliance Electric 2AX3000 is an AutoMax Network Communications Option Board designed for integration with GV3000/SE AC Drives. This board enables the GV3000 drive to be operated and monitored over the AutoMax network, effectively transforming the drive into a slave drop within the network. 

Key Features:

  • Network Integration: Facilitates communication between GV3000 drives and the AutoMax network, allowing for centralized control and monitoring.

  • Included Components: The kit includes the 2NC3000 Network Drop Cable, which connects the controller to a passive tap via the terminal strip on the board.

  • Mounting and Connections: The 2AX3000 mounts inside the GV3000 controller, connecting directly to the regulator board using a ribbon cable on the left side. Additionally, a 26-pin ribbon cable links it to the current feedback board located below the keypad on the right side.

Installation Notes:

  • Jumpers: The board is shipped with jumpers J4 and J5 connecting pins 1 and 2. Depending on the specific GV3000 drive model, you may need to reposition these jumpers to connect pins 2 and 3 before installation. Refer to Section 2.1 of the instruction manual for detailed guidance.

  • Handling Precautions: To prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage, always wear an anti-static wristband when handling and installing the board.
