Description 

The 30R4140 is version 4.0 of the 30HP AC Power Module produced by Reliance Electric, belonging to the GV3000/SE series of drives. It may have also been manufactured under ABB or Baldor Reliance, depending on production dates. 

Operating as a PWM (power-width-modulation) drive, the 30R4140 offers the flexibility to utilize either vector or general-purpose (V/Hz) regulation. With general-purpose regulation, it sustains a 110% continuous output capacity, while under vector regulation, it supports a 150% overload capacity for 1 minute. Under vector regulation, it operates at 44KVA and 380-460 VAC, with input and output amperages of 55 and 45 amps, respectively, and a full load power loss of 720 watts. When utilizing V/Hz regulation, it operates at 380-460 VAC, 59 KVA, with input and output amperages of 74 and 69 amps, respectively, and a power loss of 960 watts.

Enclosed within a NEMA 1 style enclosure, the 30R4140 features ventilation and includes an RS-232 serial communication port access door. This enclosure provides protection for a variety of internal components comprising the drive, including a regulator, power unit interface PCB, gate driver PCB, 2 bus clamps, intelligent power module PCB, diode bridge, DC bus fuse, precharge contactor, current transformer, ground fault transformer, output reactor, precharge resistor, bus discharge resistor, 24 VDC fan, DC bus current sensor, and a keypad. Notably, the regulator board is affixed to the rear of the keypad display utilizing a dedicated mounting bracket located on the keypad.
