The 30V4160 is version 6.06 of this pulse-width-modulated (PWM) drive from Reliance. It is 30HP 50/60HZ and 380-460VAC. It has an input KVA rating of 35. It has an input amperage of 44 and an output of 39 amps. It has an 800-watt power loss. This drive has a displacement power factor of 0.96 and a line volt variation of +/-10%. It has a motor lead length of 76 meters and a 180-220 Hz torque control response. It has a carrier frequency of 2, 4, and 8 kHz. This drive is capable of flipping between a standard V/Hz regulation and a vector regulation. When using the vector regulation this drive has the ability to control motor speeds in the forward and reverse direction. It can do this using FCV (flux vector control) or SVC (sensorless vector control).
The 30V4160 comes with a NEMA 1 type chassis. It is vented and has a small door that allows the user to have access to an RS-232 communication port. This chassis should only be used in an indoor environment. It should only be operated in temperatures between 0 to +40 degrees Celsius and a non-condensing humidity of 5-95%.
When mounting the 30V4160, it is important to panel-mount it vertically to a flat surface. It comes with four holes on the back of the chassis that the user can use bolts and washers to secure it into place. This drive does not come with the needed bolts or washers and require size M8 or M10 (5/16” or 3/8”).
