Information About 3RA2008
Under any of the following conditions, there will be a fault indication and the controller will automatically shut down: communications error, CPU malfunction, overspeed, inverse time overload, undervoltage, overvoltage, overtemperature, overcurrent, position regulator error, and phase loss or ground fault. Standard adjustments on the controller include Inverse Time Overload, Current Limit, Speed Loop Gain, Speed Offset, Acceleration/Deceleration Rate, Overspeed, Reference Gan, Position Loop Gain, Notch Filter, and Filter Q Factor. The controller includes a Fault Reset button and a single board, microprocessor-based regulator.
Do not expose the controller to airborne contaminants or direct sunlight. For every 1000 feet above 3300 feet, derate the current rating by 4%. The controller can be either enclosed or placed inside of a chassis. Complete all drilling, cutting, and welding before mounting the controller in order to limit vibration. If the controller horsepower is 7.5, the power loss will be 375 watts. If the controller horsepower is 15, the power loss will be 750 watts. In order to easily read labels, it is recommended to mount the controller vertically. It is not necessary to install standoff hardware. When mounting the controller, make sure that the enclosure door will not hinder service access.
