The Allen-Bradley 5069-ARM is a Compact 5000 I/O module. This module specifically functions as an Address Reserve Modul (ARM). This module is used to reserve a specific slot or node address for later insertion and utilization of a specific module. This provides the advantage of avoiding re-configuration of the controller assembly, forcing a running system to stop due to downloading of a new configuration. With this module, simplified re-configuration is needed once the address is reserved by the ARM module.

The 5069-ARM has MOD power of 45 mA @ 18-32V DC; MOD Power Passthrough of 9.55 A @ 18-32V DC and SA Power Passthrough ratings of 9.95 A @ 0-32V DC; 9.975 A @ 0-240V AC, 47-63 Hz ATEX/IECEX, 125V AC, max. This module does not use SA power, only passthrough power. Similar to other Compact 5000 I/O modules, the 5069 ARM has an open type enclosure.

The 5069-ARM cannot be used without the Compact 5000 Ethernet I/P adapter and CompactLogix 5380 controller. Typically, this module is not installed on the right side of an adapter or controller. It is commonly installed beside any Compact 5000 I/O module.

The 5069-ARM main parts include a DIN Rail latch used to mount and lock the module to the DIN rail; Top and bottom interlocking piece that is used to align the controller appropriately and module status indicator located on the upper left side of the module.

The 5069-ARM has a Height of 144.57 mm (5.69 in.); Width of 25.56 mm (1.01 in.) and Depth of 105.42 mm (4.15 in.).
