The 5069-HSC2XOB4 is compatible for use with a single-ended encoder such as the Allen-Bradley Allen-Bradley 845H Series single-ended encoders; Differential encoder including the Allen-Bradley 845H Series Differential Encoders. For discrete input devices, proximity sensors and Photoeelctric sensors are some of the compatible binary operating devices with this module.
The 5069-HSC2XOB4 operates when supplied with 12 / 24VDC voltage. The module’s counter input rating is 4 mA @ 3…32V DC; MOD Power of 50 mA @ 18…32V DC; maximum MOD power passthrough 9.55 A @ 18…32V DC; SA Power of 3 A @ 18…32V DC and maximum SA passthrough of 9.95 A @ 10…32V DC. Accepted input pulse width to this module is 125 ns with pulse separation of 100 ns.
This module has built-in diagnostics such as Output short circuit, overload and over temperature detection. The module’s reverse polarity detection is at 32VDC while the overvoltage protection is 36VDC with integral fuse protection.
This module requires a Logix controller or an Ethernet I/P communication adapter to properly function. When making signal connection to this module, supported Removable Terminal Block (RTB) are 5069-RTB18-SPRING and 5069-RTB18-SCREW. Recommended insulation stripping length are 10 mm (0.39 in.) when using a spring type RTB and 12 mm (0.47 in.) for a spring type RTB.
