The Allen-Bradley 5069-IA16 is a Compact 5000 Discrete input module. This is an AC input module which features Sixteen (16) input channels, accepting signal voltage range of 74-246VAC, 47-63 Hz. in single group of input channels. It has an input current per channel of 15 mA @ 264V AC This module requires an RTB to terminate signals where compatible RTBs include 5069-RTB18-SPRING RTB and 5069-RTB18-SCREW RTB.

The Allen-Bradley 5069-IA16 is a Compact 5000 Discrete AC input module. This module enables interfacing of binary operating signaling devices that operates at voltage category of 120 / 240VAC. This module has Sixteen (16) AC input channels in a single group. It is designed to accept signal voltage range of 79-246VAC with frequency of 47-63 Hz.

The 5069-IA16 is compatible of serving as local I/O module of 5069 CompactLogix controllers or distributed I/O component of both CompactLogix and ControlLogix controller systems. Distributed I/O architecture may be implemented if the 5069-IA16 is installed with an Ethernet I/P communication adapter.

The module’s channel exhibits an off to on signal delay of 10 ms (typ) + filter time where selectable filter times include 1 ms for 120VAC input and 1 ms, 2 ms, 5 ms for 240VAC input. Similalrly, the on to off signal delay is 10 ms (typ) + filter time where configurable filter times are 10 ms, 20 ms for 120VAC and 5 ms, 10 ms, 20 ms for 240 VAC input.

To terminate input signals to the 5069-IA16, Removable Terminal Block (RTB) must be used. Compatible RTB modules for this AC input module are 5069-RTB18-SPRING RTB and 5069-RTB18-SCREW RTB . This module has a single slot width and comes with Sixteen (16) yellow status indicator dedicated for each I/O channel and One (1) green module status indicator. The physical dimensions of this module are 144.57 x 22 x 105.42 mm (5.69 x 0.87 x 4.15 in.)
