Information About 5069-L310ERM
The Allen-Bradley 5069-L310ERM CompactLogix 5380 controller is a modern controller that is ideal for use in applications that require efficient control and support for modern and scalable connectivity. This controller features 1 MB user memory and 2 GB non-volatile memory. The dual Ethernet I/P interface provided with this controller allows connection to linear, star and ring ethernet network topology with transfer rates of 10 / 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps communication speed.
The Ethernet ports support communicating up to 24 Ethernet I/P nodes. One (1) node represents a physical connection where the controller actively communicates with.
The 5069-L310ERM controller’s secondary port is the built-in USB 2.0 Type B interface.
This controller has embedded support for integrated motion over Ethernet I/P. Up to 256 motion axes may be configured and 4 Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) drive axes.
The Ethernet ports support the full-duplex mode only and the following speeds: 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1 Gbps. In the dual-IP mode, each Ethernet port requires a unique IP address. In Linear/Device Level Ring (DLR) mode, the controller uses only 1 IP address. Star, linear and Device Level Ring topologies are supported by the Ethernet interfaces. The maximum number of Ethernet nodes supported is 24. The 5069-L310ERM controller supports 4 CIP drive axes. The ladder diagram (LD), structured text (ST), sequential function chart (SFC), and function block diagram (FBD) can be used for controller programming. The user memory available on the controller is 1 MB. The optional non-volatile memory in the form of SD cards can be used. The maximum number of local I/O modules is 8. The 5069-L310ERM controller requires 18 to 32 Volts DC input voltage and a maximum of 450 milliamps of current. The maximum power and thermal dissipation for the module are 8.5 Watts and 29 BTU/hour. The weight and dimensions of the module are 1.69 pounds and 5.67 x 3.86 x 5.9 inches, respectively. The 5069-L310ERM controller is designed for indoor use and it must be mounted inside an enclosure. The enclosure must have flame-retardant properties and it should comply with the flame spread rating of 5 VA.
