The 5069-L310ERS2 remains a DIN rail mountable device. Allen-Bradley recommends use of zinc-plated, chromate steel DIN rail or the EN50022 DIN rail which measures - 35 x 7.5 mm (1.38 x 0.30 in.). Avoid using DIN rail made of plastic or material with poor conductivity. Additionally, DIN rails that are highly susceptible to corrosion and oxidation must not be used. As this controller comes with an open type enclosure, it must installed within an enclosure that provides adequate protection against industrial contaminants such as dust, dirt, grease, corrosive gasses, among others. It has Dual Ethernet I/P port for connection or implementing Linear, Star and Device Level Ring (DLR) topology. It also has One (1) USB port and support a total of 32 tasks wherein 31 can be assigned as standard task and 1 as safety task.
This controller has the capacity to take on up to 32 tasks at a time, and it can handle up to 1000 programs within each of these tasks.
