Information About 5069-L350ERM

The Allen-Bradley 5069-L340ERM is a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) from the CompactLogix 5380 controller. This controller features 5 MB user memory, a 2 GB non-volatile memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB, with communication ports such as 2 Ethernet and 1 USB port.

This controller is a DIN rail mounted device. Applicable mounting orientation is Horizontal orientation only and requires use of DIN rail that is made of highly conductive material to ensure continuous connection to the grounding system. Recommended DIN rail type is zinc-plated, chromate steel Din rail or the EN50022 DIN rail. This controller has physical dimensions of 143.97 x 98.10 x 136.81 mm (5.67 x 3.86 x 5.39 in.) and weighs approximately 0.768 kg (1.693 lb). To terminate incoming power, this controller is used with the MOD and SA terminal blocks. Removable Terminal Block (RTB) kits available to this controller are 5069-RTB64-SCREW which contains 5069-RTB6-SCREW and 5069-RTB4-SCREW and 5069-RTB64-SPRING which contains 5069-RTB6-SPRING and 5069-RTB4-SPRING terminals. When terminating wire to this controller, recommended strip lengths are 12 mm (0.47 in.) for screw terminals and 10 mm (0.39 in.) for spring terminals. This controller has an open type enclosure.

Up to 32 Task may be configured with 1000 programs each task using all available triggers. This controller has an I/O capacity of 128,000 packets/second and message rate capacity of 2000 messages/second. The controller’s ethernet ports may be configured to operate in single IP mode or dual IP mode.

It has an 18-32V DC pass-through voltage range, with a 9.55A module maximum current, and it will dissipate 8.5W (29 BTU/hr) of heat when operational. The controller provides 1500V AC voltage isolation for 60s using Basic, Double, and Functional insulation, and it provides 300V DC voltage isolation between the Ethernet and Backplane and the SA and MOD Power, using the Basic Insulation Type.

It can execute up to 32 tasks and able to use all event triggers mechanism for an unlimited amount of tasking events. The controller has a 5 MB memory capacity and it supports memory expansion using Secure Digital (SD) cards. It supports the DIN Rail mounting mechanism and comes with a Removable Terminal Block with 0.4 Nm (3.5 lb-in) Terminal Screw Torque. It has T4 ATEX, North America, and IEC designated temperature codes, and it operates without de-rating at 0-60 °C, around 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity range.
