Description 

The Allen-Bradley 5069-OW16 is a Compact 5000 relay output module. This module features Sixteen (16) Form A, Normally Open (N.O.) relay output channels in Two (2) groups of Eight (8) channels each. This module operates at 5-125VDC and 5-264VAC. It has a switching frequency of 1 operation every 3 seconds (0.3 Hz at rated load). This module has output current of 8 A per group and 16 A per module.

The Allen-Bradley 5069-OW16 is a Relay output module. This module features Sixteen (16) Form A or Normally Open (N.O.) relay output channels, rated for 5-125V DC and 5-264V AC output voltage ranges. The output channels are grouped in Two (2) output groups with each channel having Eight (8) channels each.

The 5069-OW16 is part of the Compact 5000 I/O product family which is directly compatible with CompactLogix 5380 and Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers. The 5069-OW16 can function as both local and distributed I/O component with these controllers. Additionally, this module may serve as distributed I/O component with other ControlLogix controllers.

The 5069-OW16 features has current output ratings of 8 A per group and 16 A per channel with 10 ms switching delay time for both signal transitions. It has maximum initial contact resistance of 30 m? and mean bounce time of 500 µs. Each channel has switching frequency of 1 operation every 3 seconds or 0.3 Hz at rated load. The module’s rated contact life is 300K cycles resistive loads and 100K cycles inductive load.

The relay ratings are 2 A resistive per channel @ 5…30V DC; 2 A resistive per channel @ 5…264V AC, 50/60 Hz; 2 A general use per channel @ 5…250V AC, 50/60 Hz and 2 A @ 5…125V AC, ATEX/IECEx while the module’s pilot duty rating is 5-240V AC, 50/60 Hz, C300 pilot duty per channel and 5-125V DC, R150 pilot duty per channel. This module does not come with internal fusing therefore, external fusing may need to be installed.

The Allen-Bradley 5069-OW16 has a radiated RF immunity of 10 V/m with 1 kHz sine-wave 80% AM from 30 to 2000 MHz and 1 V/m with 1 kHz sine wave 80% AM from 2000 to 2700 MHz. The operating temperature of this module is 32 °F to 140 °F. The storage temperature of this module is -40 °F to 185 °F. If you keep the Allen-Bradley 5069-OW16 in an area that has a temperature above or below those temperatures, it will cause any damage to the module. The relative humidity of this module is from 5 to 95% without condensation. The 5069-OW16 has an operating shock of 15 g (3 pulses, 11 ms). The nonoperating shock of this module is 30 g (3 pulses, 11 ms). The Allen-Bradley 5069-OW16 is designed to maintain optimum functionality at 4.6 g vibration. This module can operate at altitudes of up to 2000 m without derating.
