The Allen-Bradley 5069-OW4I output module is an isolated output module from the Compact 5000 and CompactLogix 5069 series. It is a standard model and normally open isolated output module and it comes with 4 channels. The 5069-OW4I isolated output module can operate at either 5 to 264 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC. It supports point to point wiring isolation. The 5069-OW4I isolated output module has a status indicator for each output and for the module itself as a whole.

The Allen-Bradley 5069-OW4I is a relay output module. This module features Four (4) individually isolated Form A or Normally Open (N.O.) output channels. This module is a component product of the Compact 5000 I/O product category that is made especially compatible with CompactLogix 5380 and Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers as local and distributed I/O modules and to some ControlLogix controllers functioning as distributed I/O module.

Each output channel of this module may be operated at voltage ranges of 5-125VDC or 5-264 VAC with output current rating of 2 A per channel and 8 A per module. Individual relay ratings are 2 A resistive per channel @ 5-30VDC; 2 A resistive per channel @ 5-264VAC, 50/60 Hz; 2 A general use per channel @ 5-250VAC, 50/60 Hz and 2 A @ 5-125V AC, ATEX/IECEx.

The 5069-OW4I’s output channels are designed to operate up to 300K cycles when used with a resistive load and 100K cycles when used with inductive loads. Additionally, each channels exhibits switching frequency of 1 operation every 3 seconds (0.3 Hz at rated load).

This module supports configuration of the module’s last state in the event of fault state, program mode and fault mode. Configuration can be made per channel with options of holding the last state, turning OFF the channel and turning ON the channel. Fault mode duration may also be configured where available selections include 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s and Forever where forever is the default setting. Delay to fault configuration is also supported by the 5060-OW4I.

The Allen-Bradley 5069-OW4I also follow some Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards. It has passed the EN 50081-2 EMC - Generic Emission Standard, Part 2 - Industrial Environment and the EN 50082-2 EMC Generic Immunity Standard, Part 2 - Industrial Environment regulations.
