The 5094-OB16 digital output module comes with 16 digital outputs. It has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the Flex 5000 series. The 5094-OB16 digital output module is a DC-powered digital output module with an operating voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC. It has a backplane power voltage rating of 15 Volts DC and a maximum backplane current rating of 100 milliamps. The 5094-OB16 digital output module can be mounted horizontally, horizontally and inverted, vertically, or vertically and inverted.

The Allen-Bradley 5094-OB16 digital I/O module is manufactured in the Allen-Bradley FLEX 5000 series. This digital I/O module needs to be connected to a 24 Volts DC power source through its left SA +/- terminals so that the power source can provide field-side power. The Allen-Bradley 5094-OB16 digital I/O module comes with open load detection diagnostics, output short circuit detection and protection, overload detection and protection, excessive temperature protection, and reverse voltage protection, and these features make the I/O module as safe as possible. The module’s on-state voltage range is from 18 to 32 Volts DC, its maximum on-state voltage drop is 0.25 Volts DC, and its maximum off-state voltage is 5 Volts DC with a minimum load of 1 milliamp.

The Allen-Bradley 5094-OB16 digital I/O module has 16 sourcing I/O for making connections. It has a backplane power voltage rating is 15 Volts DC and it has a backplane current rating of 100 milliamps maximum. The users can monitor the status of this I/O module through its indicator lights. The indicator lights include a red and green module status indicator light, a red and green SA power status indicator light, and 16 red and yellow I/O status indicator lights (1 for each I/O). The Allen-Bradley 5094-OB16 digital I/O module is an open piece of equipment that does not come in an enclosure. It meets the T4 ATEX, IECEx, and North American temperature codes.
