Information About 531X121PCRAAG1
The GE Power Connection Board 531X121PCRAAG1 is a renewal part for multiple original equipment power connection boards. The 531X121PCRAAG1 board contains two jumpers that the installer can use to configure the board for use in the drive. The installer must use the information that comes with the original power connection board to match the DC armature voltage in the replacement board. The two jumpers in combination define the voltages to match the original board. For example, with the JP1 jumper on pins P3 and P8 and JP2 jumper on pins P6 and P9, the voltage on G1/G4 is 190 and the G2 voltage is 350 and the G3 voltage is 50.
Be sure to set the jumpers on the replacement board exactly as the jumpers are set on the original board.
The drive contains diagnostic tools that you use the verify that the original power connection board must be replaced. Access the diagnostic tools from the control panel by using the keypad to move through the menus to start the diagnostics tools. The diagnostics provide a complete list of the specifics of the drive and also the components related to the power connection board. You can download the diagnostics to a laptop for review and to save the file.
After the power connection board is replaced, you can run the diagnostics tool again and compare the results. If the replacement was successful, the diagnostics report will verify that the original power connection board was the source of the problem and that the replacement was successful.
