General Electric engineered the 531X309SPCAHG1, a signal processor card tailored for the 531X series. As replacement parts for 531X boards, this card is compatible with various drives produced by GE. Upon installation, the card undertakes the processing of all input and output data received from both the LAN control board and the drive control board.
Equipped with several beneficial features, the 531X309SPCAHG1 card enhances drive functionality. It facilitates interfacing with external encoders and tachometers, enabling the integration of feedback from connected peripheral devices into the control board. Upon receipt, speed feedbacks supplied by these peripherals are transmitted to the control board. Additionally, the card performs the conversion of three current reference signals and voltage level signals into voltage reference signals. Subsequently, these converted signals are relayed to the integrated motor control processor of the device. Furthermore, the card has the capability to accept RS-422 serial signals, which are processed and forwarded to the motor control processor upon reception.
