Product Description P/N: 5466-5026
Description
The 5466-5026 module is a 24/8 High-Density Analog I/O designed for operation solely in a simplex system. It offers backward compatibility and can be used interchangeably with part number 5466-332. Installation involves mounting the unit in the chosen chassis's card guide, where it plugs into the motherboard and connects through two high-density cables to up to two field transition modules (FTMs). All inputs and outputs are accessible on the FTM, with channels labeled for easy correspondence to their respective software locations.
Three configuration options are available for the 5466-5026 module. Setting it to the second configuration enables the use of all 4-20 mA inputs with the Dataforth input plugin, facilitating voltage blocking and factory voltage calibrations with a 200 Ohm resistor.

Information About 5466-5026
The 5466-5026 High-Density Analog I/O Module is configured as a 24/8 module, designed exclusively for operation within a simplex system. It boasts backward compatibility, enabling seamless integration with part number 5466-332. Installation entails mounting the unit in the card guide of the selected chassis, where it interfaces with the motherboard and connects via two high-density cables to up to two field transition modules (FTMs). All inputs and outputs are accessible on the FTM, with channels conveniently labeled for correspondence with specific software locations.
This module offers three distinct configurations. Opting for the second configuration enables the utilization of all 4-20 mA inputs with the Dataforth input plugin, facilitating voltage blocking and factory voltage calibrations using a 200 Ohm resistor.
A series of LEDs on the front panel of the 5466-5026 board serve as fault indicators, with the number of flashes indicating specific issues. For instance, three flashes denote a failure of the flash memory, while thirteen flashes indicate a parameter or configuration error. In the event of such errors, a thorough examination of the chassis's installed CPU is recommended. If a failure is detected, ensure proper CPU installation; if the issue persists, replacement of the module may be necessary.
