Information About 61C614
The 61C614 termination panel is designed to be used with the 61C613 analog input module. The purpose of the 61C614 termination panel is to terminate voltage and thermocouple inputs from the 61C13 module. In addition to that, the 61C614 termination panel can also terminate current inputs by connecting a resistor across the terminal strip.
The 61C614 termination panel includes two 50-wire flat cables that are both six feet long. This device also includes 32 clamp-type barrier strips that are used for terminating field signals. These barrier strips are screw-activated.
The 61C614 termination panel’s installation process is quite simple. First, be sure that the whole system’s power is turned off. Then, mount the termination panel in such a way that there is easy access to the terminal board’s terminal board and that the terminal board is close to the rack so that its cable can reach both the terminal board and the module. After the panel is mounted, you can fasten the field wires to the terminal strip. Next, connect the 50-pin flat cables directly to the 61C614 termination panel and their connector on the 61C613 analog input module. When all of these steps are completed, you can turn the power on to the system and begin operation.
