Description 

The 6MD-NM1B conversion kit, part of the MD-60 product line, is one of two conversion kits available, with the counterpart being the 6MD-NM1A model. The primary distinction between the two lies in the frame type they accommodate, with the 6MD-NM1A designed for Frame A and the 6MD-NM1B for Frame B. Despite this difference, both conversion kits serve the same function. 

Designed to elevate the enclosure rating of an MD-60 AC drive from IP20 to IP30/NEMA 1, the 6MD-NM1B kit includes a metal conduit plate for attachment to user conduit. Additionally, it provides a plastic top cover intended to shield the drive from debris that could potentially interfere with its operation or cause damage. 

Rated for a voltage of 460 VAC and a frequency of 50/60 Hz, the 6MD-NM1B conversion kit equips the MD-60 AC drive with the necessary components for achieving a higher enclosure rating, thereby enhancing its suitability for specific environmental conditions.
