Product Description P/N: 8020-SCP-323
Description
The 8020-SCP-323 is a Model 300, 2K Deluxe Processor manufactured by Square D. It features RAM (Random Access Memory) for volatile memory storage, supported by batteries, and UV PROM (Ultraviolet Programmable Read Only Memory) for non-volatile memory storage, requiring ultraviolet light for erasure. The maximum total memory size for the RAM/UV PROM mix is 2K, with a maximum total UV PROM memory of 1K.
Processor status indication is facilitated through a set of lights. All lights illuminated indicate an incorrect power-up sequence, while all lights turned off indicate a loss of power. Each word of user memory incorporates a parity bit for error detection, with the memory light activating and the halt light flashing in case of a parity error fault.

Information About 8020-SCP-323
The 8020-SCP-323, a Model 300, 2K Deluxe Processor, is a product of Square D, boasting a dual memory architecture comprising RAM (Random Access Memory) and UV PROM (Ultraviolet Programmable Read Only Memory). RAM, characterized by volatility and battery dependency, operates in conjunction with UV PROM, a non-volatile memory requiring ultraviolet light for program erasure. The combined RAM/UV PROM memory configuration accommodates a maximum total memory size of 2K, with UV PROM limited to a maximum total memory of 1K.
Processor status indication is facilitated through a series of lights. The illumination of all processor lights signifies an incorrect power-up sequence, while the absence of illumination indicates a loss of power. Each word of user memory is equipped with a parity bit for error detection, with the memory light activated and the halt light flashing in the event of a parity error fault.
Functionally, the processor undertakes regular checks by comparing the status of the I/O image table with the actual status of each input and output within the system upon the conclusion of each memory scan. Post-writing, the status of outputs is read back to verify consistency with the I/O image table. In cases of mismatch, processor operation halts, and external outputs are deactivated.
