Information About A06B-6140-H055
The A06B-6140-H055 Alpha I Power Supply Module AIPS -55 is a servo amp manufactured by FANUC. With its sleek design, it is meant to fit just perfectly in a space-saving manner as only a compact unit like this can. Being compact in size and saving up to 30% more in installation space, this power supply puts out far less heat than the larger models. The length of the cable cord has been reduced as another measure to save space and improve functionality. The cable connector fits into the control board more easily with its updated architecture, offering less projection into the frame where it attaches. Additionally, the amplifiers only require one cable to connect. Another cable reducing feature is the ability to use less external cabling as it is no longer required. This is due to the inclusion of the ground connection from the motor output terminal block to the flange.
The power lines, now simpler than ever with the connectors that are attached to the input power lines saving connection time. Detachment from the servo amp cabinet will also cost you less time as the input power lines and the motor power lines are detached at the quick connectors. Maintaining your equipment now also has improved features, including a fan motor that is replaced with ultimate simplicity substantially reducing the time it normally takes to replace a fan motor. Changing out the servo amp takes significantly less time as the connectors are attached to the input power lines and the connectors are attached to the motor power lines. Not only that, but there is now no need to perform reference position return operation after you replace the servo amplifier. There is a back-up capacitor located in the Absolute Pulsecoder on the servo amplifier that enables position detection operation for close to ten minutes eliminating the need for reference position return operation. The servo amplifier’s architecture is such that it must be installed in a power magnetics cabinet with its heat sink coming out of the back of the cabinet. That way the heat that comes from the semiconductors is carried away properly and you can be sure heat will not back up on you. The servo amp has a capacitor that helps to smooth out the power circuit. Be mindful that when you turn off the power supply to the unit it may still have an electric charge for a little while. As a safety precaution, wait a few seconds for the electricity to discharge and do not touch it at any point until you see the red LED has turned off which indicates that the charge has dissipated.
