Information About ACPS-2406
The ACPS-2406 is designed to expand the power capacity of Notifier fire alarm systems by providing up to 6.0 amps of regulated 24 VDC output. It is fully compatible with key Notifier control panels including AFP-100, AFP-200, AFP-300/400, AFP-1010, AM2020, AFC-600, NFS-640, and NFS-3030. The unit operates in both FlashScan® and CLIP protocols, and can be configured to support four NACs or provide four-wire detector/general-purpose power. Built-in strobe synchronization supports System Sensor SpectrAlert™ Series and other UL-listed devices when used uniformly across the system.
It includes an integral lead-acid battery charger for 7 to 25 AH batteries and supervises AC loss, battery faults, brownouts, and ground faults. With configurable output limits (5.0 A continuous, 6.0 A during alarm), and 0.5 A of auxiliary 24 VDC power available internally, the ACPS-2406 ensures consistent system operation even during emergency power transitions. Its SLC interface supports 5 to 13 addresses depending on configuration, and features LED indicators and fuse protection for streamlined diagnostics.
Key Features:
- Addressable and Protocol-Compatible: Works with FlashScan and CLIP-mode fire panels for flexible system architecture.
- Multiple Output Options: Supports up to 4 NACs or can be configured to power four-wire detectors or general loads.
- Integrated Battery Charger: Supports 7–25 AH lead-acid batteries with 1.1 A charging current.
- NAC Synchronization Support: Built-in strobe synchronization for System Sensor, Wheelock, Gentex, and similar devices.
- Auxiliary Power Output: Provides 24 VDC @ 0.5 A for use within the same cabinet.
- System Fault Monitoring: Detects brownouts, AC loss, battery faults, and ground faults.
- Selectable Addressing: Occupies between 5 and 13 SLC addresses depending on configuration.
- Universal Zone Coder (UZC-256) Support: Enables Canadian temporal patterns for evacuation logic.
- UL and NFPA Certified: Conforms to UL 864 and NFPA 72 standards with support for NEC wiring codes.
- Wide Wire Support and Safety Fusing: Accepts 12–18 AWG conductors and includes 15 A (F2) and 3AB fuses.
The ACPS-2406 delivers fully supervised addressable power with built-in battery charging and advanced output options for modern fire alarm networks.
