ADR3034 | Appleton Receptacle

The ADR3034, part of the Appleton Powertite Series, is a receptacle designed to provide safe and reliable power for heavy-duty equipment, whether fixed or portable. Constructed from triple-coated, copper-free aluminum, these receptacles are highly durable and can withstand harsh weather conditions, corrosive environments, and rugged working conditions. 

The ADR3034 Appleton Receptacle, part of the Powertite Series, incorporates a pin and sleeve design to deliver secure and dependable power for a diverse range of heavy-duty equipment, whether stationary or portable. Constructed from triple-coated, copper-free aluminum, these receptacles offer robust resilience against harsh weather conditions, corrosive environments, and demanding operational settings. 

Safety is paramount in the design, featuring widely spaced contacts recessed within an internal arc snuffing chamber to mitigate potential hazards. Additionally, insulating blocks, positive polarization, and a robust neoprene bushing contribute to the protection by sealing out water and dust, ensuring optimal performance even in challenging environments. 

The design of the receptacle allows for either a shell-only configuration or a shell with an extra pole grounding, facilitating a secure "make first, break last" grounding mechanism.
