The Altivar Machine ATV320 series presents variable speed drives tailored for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact design facilitates vertical stacking within machine frames. Operating within a power range of up to 11 kW / 15 hp, it accepts voltages ranging from 200V to 240V AC. Engineered with robustness in mind, its IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 coated printed circuit boards ensure machine availability in harsh environments, enduring temperatures of up to 60°C sans additional cooling.

Equipped with features ideal for various applications, including torque and speed precision at low speeds, dynamic performance with flux vector control sans sensor, and an extended frequency range for high-speed motors, the ATV320 series also enables parallel connection of motors and special drives, employing the voltage/frequency ratio. It provides static speed accuracy and energy-saving functionality for open-loop synchronous motors.

Weighing 6.8 kg and measuring 180mm wide, 330mm high, and 198mm deep, the ATV320 series integrates five safety functions into its software, aiding machines in meeting safety standards with or without a Preventa safety module. Configuration of these functions is facilitated through the SoMove software.

Tailored for OEMs, the Altivar Machine ATV320 suits both simple and advanced applications, spanning packaging, material handling, textile, material working, mechanical actuators, and hoisting. It conforms to IEC, UL, TUV, KC, and other international standards.

Supplementary mounting accessories and external options, including braking resistors, line chokes, motor chokes, and additional EMC filters, are available, contingent upon the drive rating. Delivered as a single package, it is designed for vertical mounting (+/- 10 °) on a panel, facilitated by four fixing holes.
