The ATV320U04M2C is a variable speed drive within the Altivar Machine ATV320 series, designed to power single-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors. Its compact form factor enables vertical stacking of drives within machine frames. Featuring IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 coated printed circuit boards, this drive extends machine availability while ensuring reliability. It incorporates functions tailored for common applications, including precise torque and speed control at low speeds, dynamic performance with flux vector control, and support for high-speed motors. Additionally, it facilitates parallel connection of motors and special drives, offering static speed accuracy and energy-saving features for open-loop synchronous motors.

Equipped with 5 safety functions configurable via SoMove software, it assists in meeting safety requirements, with or without the use of a Preventa safety module. The Altivar Machine ATV320 series caters to the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across various industries, including packaging, material handling, textile, material working, mechanical actuators, and hoisting.

Compliant with international standards such as IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 for immunity and EMC emissions, it holds certifications including CE, UL, CSA, NOM, EAC, and RCM. The drive supports a range of mounting accessories and external options such as braking resistors, line chokes, motor chokes, and additional EMC filters, tailored to specific drive ratings.
