A universal shaft clamp allows installation on compatible damper shafts up to 1.05 inches in diameter, while mounting orientation determines clockwise or counterclockwise operation. The actuator responds to switched power from an external control contact or manual switch and includes electronic overload protection throughout its operating travel. An adjustable mechanical end stop, graduated position indicator, and supplied manual crank support installation and damper positioning.
