This processor module offers a maximum configuration of 8 racks and supports 144 application-specific channels. With a current consumption of 295mA at 24V DC, it facilitates the operation of 4096 discrete and 1024 analog local I/O channels, along with 64 distributed equipment.
Integrated with Ethernet TCP/IP for service port, 2 Ethernet TCP/IP for device network, Ethernet for HSBY port, and USB type mini B for connections, the Modicon M580 processor provides comprehensive networking capabilities. It boasts a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 600000 hours and supports 16 - 2 racks per remote drop for I/O stations.
