Information About BMXDRA1605
The BMXDRA1605 offers 16 discrete outputs, conforming to EN/IEC 61131-2 standards. These outputs are relay-based, allowing them to handle a broad range of loads and voltages. The module supports two distinct voltage options: 24 V DC with a range of 19 to 30 V DC and 24 to 240 V AC with a range of 19 to 264 V AC. This flexibility in voltage options makes the module suitable for various output devices and applications.
The module is rated with a conventional free air thermal current (Ith) of 2 A, enabling it to handle significant electrical loads without overheating. The insulation resistance of over 10 MOhm at 500 V DC ensures reliable isolation between channels and the external circuit, minimizing the risk of electrical interference.
The BMXDRA1605 is designed to offer robust protection for both the module and connected devices. It features output overload protection, requiring the use of a fast-blow fuse per channel or group of channels. For overvoltage protection in DC outputs, discharge diodes are utilized, while RC circuits are employed for AC outputs. Surge limiters using ZNO technology are employed for additional protection in AC outputs.
With an activation response time of less than 8 ms and a deactivation response time of less than 10 ms, the BMXDRA1605 ensures quick and precise output control. Despite its high performance, the module maintains low current consumption of just 79 mA at 3.3 V DC, contributing to energy efficiency in the overall system.
The BMXDRA1605 boasts an impressive Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) reliability of 1,357,810 hours, reflecting its robust design and durability. This high reliability ensures that the module can perform consistently and reliably in demanding industrial environments, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
