Product Description P/N: DC2-70G
Description
The DC2-70G drive, manufactured by Reliance Electric Rockwell, features a line voltage of 115/230 VAC or 50/60 Hz and is housed within a NEMA 12k enclosure with operator control. With a motor horsepower ranging from ¼ to 2 HP, this drive offers start/stop and speed input capability for normal applications, regulated by armature voltage or motor-mounted D-C tachometer.
The DC2-70G drive is highly adjustable, catering to various user needs. Its features include potentiometer motor speed adjustment, separately adjustable maximum and minimum speeds, independently adjustable rates, adjustable current limit, and adjustable IR drop compensation. Employing full wave and half-control power conversion with a back diode ensures efficient power conversion, optimal armature waveforms, and cooler motor operation across extensive operating speed ranges.
Within the DC2 series drives, additional features include a voltage regulator, AC input voltage jumper, s-curve acceleration jumper, minimum speed disable jumper, tach scaling jumper, and voltage/tach feedback jumper. Tachometer requirements entail either 7 VDC or 20.8 VDC per 1000 RPM design. The series also incorporates a power cube containing all power semiconductors for enhanced reliability and streamlined maintenance.
