Product Description P/N: DC3R-12D-4X-010-DN
Description
The DC3R-12D-4X-010-DN is a Reliance Electric DC3 series regenerative drive enclosed in a NEMA 12/4/4x enclosure. The "DN" designation indicates the inclusion of features such as jog, cyclic reversing by limit-switches, and independent forward/reverse speed pots. Additionally, the drive incorporates separate potentiometers for minimum and maximum speed, forward and reverse torque, forward and reverse acceleration, IR drop compensation, deadband compensation, and tachometer feedback. The instruction manual for this drive is D2-3453, and it does not require an additional heat sink. Reliance Electric drives comply with CE standards.
Regenerative drives operate in 4 quadrants, facilitating motor torque opposite to motor rotation. These drives eliminate the need for contactors, switches, brake resistors, or inhibit plugs for motor reversal. They also effectively control overhauling loads and accelerate load deceleration. Troubleshooting issues such as motor speed discrepancies, pulsing or surging under load, and blown line fuses are addressed in the user manual. It is crucial to verify AC line voltage alignment with the drive nameplate and ensure proper sizing of the line fuse. Terminal connections must align with those specified in the user manual. Troubleshooting should not be attempted while AC power is applied.

Information About DC3R-12D-4X-010-DN
The DC3R-12D-4X-010-DN, belonging to the Reliance Electric DC3 series, is a regenerative drive housed in a NEMA 12/4/4x enclosure denoted by the "4X" designation. Featuring "DN" attributes, this drive incorporates functionalities such as jog, cyclic reversing by limit-switches, and independent forward/reverse speed pots. Additionally, it includes separate potentiometers catering to minimum and maximum speed, forward and reverse torque, forward and reverse acceleration, IR drop compensation, deadband compensation, and tachometer feedback. The instruction manual for this drive is D2-3453, and it does not necessitate an additional heat sink. Reliance Electric drives adhere to CE compliance standards.
Regenerative drives operate across 4 quadrants, enabling motor torque direction opposite to motor rotation. These drives offer motor reversal capabilities without the need for contactors, switches, brake resistors, or inhibit plugs. Moreover, they effectively manage overhauling loads and expedite load deceleration beyond the speed achievable through coasting. The user manual comprehensively addresses troubleshooting scenarios, encompassing issues like failure to achieve desired motor speed, motor running excessively fast, motor failure despite intact line fuse, motor pulsing or surging under load, and blown line fuses. It is imperative to verify AC line voltage alignment with the drive nameplate and confirm proper sizing of the line fuse. Furthermore, ensuring consistency of terminal connections with those delineated in the user manual is crucial. Troubleshooting activities should abstain from execution when AC power is applied to the equipment.
