Product Description P/N: DS200FSAAG1A
Description
The GE Field Supply Amplifier Board DS200FSAAG1A comprises five jumpers, one 10-pin connector, and two fuses, along with multiple test points. Designed to attach to another drive component, it utilizes standoffs on the companion component for secure attachment via screws. The board's corners align with the standoffs, facilitating screw insertion through the board. Care should be exercised during screw tightening to prevent board damage from over-tightening, aided by the metal surface surrounding the holes.
To ensure consistent behavior, jumper positions on the newly installed DS200FSAAG1A board should replicate those of the previous board. Proper alignment over the standoffs is crucial before screw tightening, using both hands to evenly tighten the screws with a screwdriver. Both groups of FSAA boards, DS200FSAAG1A, and DS200FSAAG2, are non-reversing and associated with field supplies. However, while DS200FSAAG2 is exclusively used with non-reversing field supplies, DS200FSAAG1 can function in a non-reversing plugging field supply setting and is compatible with DS200FSAAG2 or NRX configurations.

Information About DS200FSAAG1A
The GE Field Supply Amplifier Board DS200FSAAG1A is equipped with five jumpers, one 10-pin connector, and two fuses, along with multiple test points. Designed for attachment to another drive component, standoffs facilitate securement with screws, aligning holes on each corner of the board with the standoffs to allow screw insertion. Caution should be exercised during screw tightening to prevent board damage from over-tightening, considering the surrounding metal surface designed for board protection.
To ensure consistent hardware behavior, jumper positions on the previous DS200FSAAG1A board should be replicated on the newly installed board. Alignment of the new board over the standoffs is necessary before tightening screws with a screwdriver. Even tightening of all four screws in the standoffs is recommended, using two hands for the process—one to guide the screwdriver and the other to turn the screw.
FSAA boards are categorized into two groups: DS200FSAAG1A and DS200FSAAG2. Both groups are non-reversing and associated with field supplies. However, the DS200FSAAG2 group is exclusively utilized with non-reversing field supplies, whereas the DS200FSAAG1 group can be employed with non-reversing plugging field supplies and possesses compatibility with a DS200FSAAG2 or NRX setting.
