Product Description P/N: DS200PCCAG5ACB
Description
The DS200PCCAG5ACB is a Power Connect Card (PCCA) manufactured by General Electric. GE no longer provides support for this board, and its availability has become limited. Designed as an intermediary between an SCR power bridge and the drive’s control circuitry, it employs pulse transformers to deliver gate drive to the SCR bridge. Classified as a high horsepower PCCA, it is intended for use with high HP controllers, as it eliminates snubbers and utilizes external placement for them within the system. Additionally, it eschews the use of an attenuation string.
Featuring 12 plug connectors, the PCCA facilitates the transmission of gate pulse signals in both forward and reverse directions to the SCR bridge. It can also communicate with the power supply board via another plug connector, typically a DCFB-type board. The DS200PCCAG5ACB incorporates Leg reactors and fuses, as well as separate or common bus transformers.

Information About DS200PCCAG5ACB
The DS200PCCAG5ACB, a Power Connect Card (PCCA) by General Electric, serves as an intermediary between an SCR power bridge and the control circuitry of a drive. Its primary function involves utilizing pulse transformers to deliver gate drive to the SCR bridge. Classified as a high horsepower PCCA, it is recommended for use with high HP controllers due to its elimination of snubbers, which are instead relocated within the system. Additionally, the board forgoes an attenuation string.
Equipped with 12 plug connectors, the DS200PCCAG5ACB facilitates the transmission of gate pulse signals to the SCR bridge, both forward and in reverse. Furthermore, it establishes communication with the power supply board through another plug connector, typically a DCFB-type board. The PCCA incorporates Leg reactors and fuses, as well as separate or common bus transformers.
The DS200PCCAG5ACB employs a total of four wire jumpers, designated as WP4, WP3, JP2, and JP1. Positioned behind the drive control and the power supply board, it is secured with these two boards onto the backside of a board carrier, utilizing six plastic holders for stability.
