Information About DS200PLFMG1A
This unit was made to be used with other Mark V DS200 models from General Electric. When operated with the Mark V DS200 drive,e the PLFM is used to indicate the status of the phases. There are three phase identifiers named phases A, B, and C. Each of the phases has six LEDs. The six LEDs in each of the sections are as follows:
Upper Gate Drive 1
Upper Gate Drive 2
Lower Gate Drive 1
Lower Gate Drive 2
Overcurrent 1
Overcurrent 2
Each of the LEDs is vital when operating the DS200PLFMG1A model as it will help understand how the remaining boards with the Mark V DS200 cabinet are operating. Unfortunately, due to a lack of documentation for the PLFM model, it is unsure how the LEDs will respond to the model and what they will look like when indicating potential faults. Underneath all of the phase LEDs, there is one small power LED that lights up green when power is connected to the PLFM unit.
There is only one connector available on the DS200PLFMG1A model. This connector is located on the short edge of the PLFM unit and is a twenty-pin connector. Once again, due to the lack of documentation, it is unknown what type of connector is used to attach this card to the other Mark V DS200 units or how it will be mounted alongside the drives or boards in the Mark V cabinet.
