General Electric VME Backplane Board DS200VPBLG1A is a multilayer board that keeps the digital and analog power planes separate. The model also has bypass capacitors and power distribution at every power connection of each slot. Within the board, there are two different sections, the J2, and J3 sections. The J3 section of the board is typically used for all of the external connections that are not available on the board fronts. The J3 section will also establish power connections to the backplane.

The DS200VPBLG1A board has a diagnostics connector. This diagnostics connector is a twenty-six-pin discrete cable connector. The primary function of the diagnostics connector is to provide input/output connections to the J1 processor. This model also comes with several different tachometer settings, the two main settings being the jumpers and terminal block. Jumpers are vital in this model as all of the tachometer signals are passed through these jumpers.

On the DS200VPBLG1A model, there are a total of sixty test points. These test points are spring-loop which provide access to the digital and analog signals which are triggered by the three phases of actuator current on the two input power sources as well as the positive and negative direct current outputs.
