Information About DS2020DACAG2
The DS2020DACAG2 module functions to convert a VAC power supply to a VDC power supply. Upon conversion to 125 VDC, a diode couples with other DC sources within the controller, forming a DC bus that supplies power to the controller modules and gate pulse amplifier boards.
Connected outputs such as EPDM, EGPA, EXTV, and EPBP feature LED indicators to denote proper power supply to the DS2020DACAG2. When diodes are coupled and the model's ground is centered, grounded voltages should nominally measure +62.5 and -62.5 volts.
Optimal operation of the DACA device is ensured by referencing manuals such as the GEH-6632 EX2100 User’s Guide and the GEH-6721L PDM Power Distribution Modules System Guide.
The DS2020DACAG2 module is backward compatible, serving as a replacement for the DS2020DACAG1 module. When one or two DACA modules are connected to the IS2020JPDF, AC current is provided through a wire harness positioned between JPDF and JPDB.
