Information About DS3800HDDB
The DS3800HDDB is a PCB made by GE for the Mark IV series. While the first Speedtronic system was introduced in 1968, the MKIV is a significant technological improvement over the earlier MKI and MKII. The Mark IV is the first Speedtronic system to distribute turbine control functions across several powerful microprocessor-controlled platforms that all run simultaneously to monitor critical controls and parameters using a two-out-of-three voting system to make all important decisions. The MKIV protects the turbine system around the clock from vibration, fire, high pressure, and loss of flame.
The DS3800HDDB is drilled in eight locations along its short edges. It is alignment marked (lettered and numbered) on two edges. Components on the board include nine red light emitting diodes, which sit along two sets of traces in the center part of the PCB. It has four integrated circuits, capacitors, resistors, and several TP test points.
The DS3800HDDB has five mating connectors lined up on its upper edge. These mating connectors are designed for communication with other PCBs. All connectors are male, right-angled connectors. All connectors are marked. The board has three larger connectors, one medium connector, and one small connector.
