Information About DS3800HSHA
The DS3800HSHA is a board that is part of the Speedtronic Mark IV turbine control series. This board was produced by General Electric and is a highway circuit board. The Mark systems have been in use for many decades to help control turbines and ensure the safety of the operators.
DS3800HSHA has a total of 25 integrated circuits. These are chips which each contain very small versions of electrical components like capacitors, diodes and resistors. Jumper pins including red jumpers are arranged in two separate groups on the top and bottom of the board. Many capacitors of different sizes are located around the board and are either blue or yellow. The DS3800HSHA has many resistors which are banded a features multiple colors. These colored bands signify the energy capacity of the resistors. A group of test points, which let the board's operator test that the board is working properly, are located on the board's right edge. The test points are labeled with such names as DATA, DSYNC, RST, COM and SYNC. Positioned next to these test points are 3 light-emitting diodes, commonly known as LEDs. One LED is orange and the other two LEDs are red. Some silver diodes which are not light-emitting are also located on the card. DS3800HSHA features two connector ports. The bigger of the two ports is positioned on the left side of the card and the smaller of the two is on the right side.
