Information About DS3800HUMA1A1B
The GE Universal Memory Board DS3800HUMA1A1B is designed for easy installation into the drive. It features a modular connector at one end and retention levers at the other. The board includes a reset toggle switch and a red indicator LED, as well as multiple erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules and 10 jumpers.
The board is equipped with EPROM module sockets organized into four logical divisions called Quads: Quad A, Quad B, Quad C, and Quad D. Each Quad, except for Quad B, includes sockets and jumpers. Quad A and Quad C each have four jumpers.
When replacing the board, transfer the EPROM modules from the old board to the corresponding sockets on the new board, moving each module one at a time.
For signal transmission, the board's modular connector at the bottom interfaces with the rack's connector. Insert the board into the rack, press the connectors together with your thumbs to establish the connection, and then close the retention levers to secure the board.
