Information About DS3800NFEC
General Electric created the DS3800NFEC for the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Mark IV system automates and regulates the operation of gas and steam turbines. Mark IV is an evolution of the Mark systems which have been used for turbine operations since the 1960s. The Mark IV system is in charge of regulating and automating all aspects of the turbine system. This system controls emissions and manages fuel. Mark IV is charged with overseeing all operations of the turbine.
The DS3800NFEC most notably features a cubic black transformer. The part number of this transformer is written on the top of the component. The DS3800NFEC has a connector port on one end of the DS3800NFEC. With this connector, other circuit board components can be added to the DS3800NFEC. Round transistors which are silver in color are found on the DS3800NFEC. Potentiometers are also located on the DS3800NFEC. Using the dials on these potentiometers, also called variable resistors, the resistance of the devices can be adjusted. A relay and many capacitors are also situated on the DS3800NFEC. These capacitors are a wide variety of colors and sizes. A light-emitting diode, or LED, may also be found on the DS3800NFEC. Test points, which allow an operator the test the device to ensure it is working correctly, may be seen on the DS3800NFEC. Many resistors which are different sizes and banded in varying colors may be located all across the DS3800NFEC circuit board.
