Product Description P/N: DS3800NPSJ

Description / Specifications

Description

The DS3800NPSJ, developed by General Electric (GE), functions as a power supply printed circuit board (PCB) within the MKIV (Mark IV) system, a subset of the Mark series. Designed to oversee turbine operations and safeguard against hazardous conditions, the MKIV system relies on components like the DS3800NPSJ.

This PCB incorporates a variety of components, including twenty-one resistor networks aligned along one edge. Each network, identifiable by its yellow color, comprises at least two resistors, collectively determining the network's overall resistance. Additionally, two yellow capacitors are present, alongside various capacitors of different colors and sizes.

Eight small transistors, labeled from Q1 to Q8, are distributed across the DS3800NPSJ. An orange LED indicator illuminates to signify operational status, while a potentiometer, also known as a variable resistor, offers adjustable resistance via a dial interface.

Information About DS3800NPSJ

The DS3800NPSJ, developed by General Electric (GE), functions as a power supply printed circuit board (PCB) within the MKIV (Mark IV) system, a subset of the Mark series. This PCB is designed to manage and automate turbine operations while safeguarding against hazardous conditions.

Featuring an array of components, the DS3800NPSJ includes twenty-one resistor networks positioned along one edge. These networks, colored yellow, are arranged linearly and each comprises a minimum of two resistors. The total resistance of each network corresponds to the combined resistance of its constituent resistors.

Additionally, two yellow capacitors are present on the DS3800NPSJ, alongside other capacitors of varying colors and sizes. Eight small transistors, labeled from Q1 to Q8, are distributed across the board. An orange light-emitting diode (LED) serves as an operational indicator, illuminating when the component is active.

Furthermore, the DS3800NPSJ incorporates a single potentiometer, also known as a variable resistor, equipped with a dial for adjusting resistance levels. Jumper pins and one blue jumper are also integrated into the board. By manipulating these jumpers, operators can modify the operational characteristics of the board according to specific requirements.
