Information About DS3800NRTB
The DS3800NRTB is a GE PCB manufactured for the Mark IV. This system was created in 1982 for the management of gas and steam turbines. The MKIV is built on integrated microprocessors that work together to monitor and protect the turbine system from issues like high pressure, over-speed, loss of flame, fire, and vibration.
The DS3800NRTB is designed to function as an RTD conditioning card. It is drilled in all corners and has extractor clips added to two of these. It is worth noting small squares of the top layer of the board have been removed at each corner, so the drillings are only through the bottom layer. The board has been marked with the GE symbol, with the board’s identification number, and with the code “6BA01.” One edge is populated with a 218A4551-1 AMP 102041-1 right-angled female PCB mating connector. The opposite edge has a 13-pin right-angled male connector.
The DS3800NRTB is built with fourteen potentiometers, several TP test points, one jumper switch, and eight transistors. The potentiometers are trim potentiometers, which can be used to tune, calibrate, or adjust circuits.
There are twenty-six circuits located across the surface of the DS3800NRTB. All circuits are marked. The board is built with metal film and carbon composite resistors. Capacitors tend to be polyester vinyl (708D1) or aluminum electrolytic.
