Information About DS3800TIMC

The Mark IV was the third system to be released in the Mark series. The Mark series, including the Mark IV, were designed to fulfill all requirements of turbine operation. Mark IV is used for the operation of both gas and steam turbines.

Mark IV manages and automates the turbine processes. This system also works to protect the turbines from any damage which may occur due to unideal operating conditions. The Mark IV has been used for decades to control industrial turbine processes. The technologies used in the Mark IV were state of the art at its creation. These technologies have been developed for decades, since the late 1940s. Mark I, which was the very first system in the Mark series, was created and in use as early as 1968. Processes controlled by the Mark IV include startup and shutdown, cooldown, liquid and gas fuel injection rates, and turbine temperature. One very useful feature in the Mark IV system is its own onboard diagnostic system. This diagnostic system is very useful for troubleshooting. The system tells the operator what the problem is with the equipment. Timestamped operation reports may also be used due to a built-in printer. This creates a written record for an operator to use to determine the turbine’s history of errors and the time that an error took place. This printer can also print an image of any graphic displayed on the turbine’s display panel.
