Information About DS3815PTCA
A DS3815PTCA Term controller board is built upon a DS3800 HCMA Mark IV with more advanced components added. The Mark IV control system from General Electric was the first Speedtronic system from General Electric that used a triple modular redundant architecture to increase the reliability of Speedtronic systems. Speedtronic turbine control systems have been used for the management of industrial gas and steam turbines since the late 1960s.
The DS3815PTCA is a rectangular-shaped board that includes a standard Mark IV backplane connector. Opposite this edge, the board has two right-angled connectors centered on the board, each flanked by an LED indicator. There is a third LED indicator located between the two right-angled connectors. These LEDs will be visible after the board has been installed into the rack system. This edge also includes two TP test points and two extractor clips. Extractors are inserted into the board’s factory drilled front corners and will help users to install, extract, and maintain the board’s position within the rack system.
The DS3815PTCA includes three lines of jumper switches plus two individually set jumper switches. The board has over fifty-five integrated circuits set in lines on the board, as well as two Augat connectors. It also uses resistor network arrays along with traditional resistors, traditional capacitors, and diodes.
