Information About DS3820CI2AG21C1A
The DS3820CI2AG21C1A is a Current Isolator Module. It is designed to give the unit isolation between the control side and the line voltage side. It can also switch incoming current from DC to AC. This module has an external protective box and an internal circuit board component. The exterior box (metal) is designed to be wall-mounted. The unit has several flanges with screw holes or tabs to allow for mounting located on its back edge. The front panel is hinged on its left edge. The front panel opens to reveal the inner workings of the unit. This panel is marked with several warnings, including a high-voltage warning. Please be sure to read and follow all handling and safety procedures from the manufacturer before unboxing your part.
The interior DS3800NCIB board within the DS3820CI2AG21C1A component is screw-mounted to the back panel of the external box. This circuit board is heavily covered with components including multiple connectors like a three-position terminal strip, a ribbon connector, two male vertical pin connectors, a stab-on ground connector, and a quick-connect connector for the addition of a component like a resistor or a diode. Other board components include an isolation amplifier (S1270,) integrated circuits, potentiometers, transistors, resistors, capacitors, and diodes.
