The 4-SDDC is an EST4 Series intelligent dual-loop controller assembly built around two removable 4-SDC Signature Driver Cards installed on a common controller platform. Each Signature circuit supports up to 125 detector addresses and 125 module addresses, providing combined controller capacity for as many as 250 detectors and 250 modules when both loops are fully configured. The circuits support Class B, Class A, and Class X wiring while providing electronic addressing, automatic device mapping, nonvolatile mapping data, device-location supervision, detector sensitivity management, and maintenance reporting. Installed on the EST4 local rail architecture, the controller receives its operating power and system communications through the panel and can be combined with additional dual-loop controllers to create high-capacity Signature device networks.
