The SIGA-SD is an intelligent SuperDuct detector from the Edwards EST Signature Series, engineered for integration with compatible Signature data loops and fire alarm control systems. Its low-profile housing incorporates a photoelectric smoke sensor, clear removable cover, status LEDs, conformally coated electronics, and connections for field-installed sampling tubes. Air drawn from the duct is analyzed by onboard electronics that use digital filtering, historical data, and differential sensing to distinguish rapid smoke-related changes from gradual contamination or environmental drift. Electronic addressing, automatic device mapping, self-diagnostics, maintenance reporting, dirty-sensor indication, remote test/reset support, and nonvolatile operating history simplify system commissioning and ongoing service.
