The Altivar Machine ATV320 is a variable speed drive tailored for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact design facilitates vertical stacking within machine frames, optimizing space utilization. Operating within a voltage range of 200V to 240V AC across three phases, it delivers a rated power of up to 7.5kW or 10hp.

Featuring IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 coated printed circuit boards, the ATV320 drive ensures robust performance even in harsh environmental conditions, withstanding temperatures of up to 60°C without requiring additional cooling. Its versatile functionalities cater to various applications, offering precise torque and speed accuracy at low speeds, dynamic performance enhancement with flux vector control without sensors, and an extended frequency range for high-speed motors.

The drive incorporates features such as parallel connection of motors and special drives using the voltage/frequency ratio, static speed accuracy, and energy-saving capabilities for open-loop synchronous motors. Weighing 3.6kg and measuring 150mm wide, 232mm high, and 178mm deep, it integrates five safety functions to meet safety requirements, configurable via SoMove software, with or without a Preventa safety module.

Designed for OEMs, the Altivar Machine ATV320 caters to simple and advanced applications across sectors like packaging, material handling, textile, material working, mechanical actuators, and hoisting. Compliant with IEC, UL, TUV, KC, and other international standards, it offers mounting accessories and external options, including braking resistors, line chokes, motor chokes, and additional EMC filters, based on the drive rating.
