The EL3024 EtherCAT Terminal serves as a 4-channel analog input module designed to handle currents ranging from 4 to 20 mA. With a resolution of 12 bits, the terminal digitizes the input current signals and transmits them in an electrically isolated manner to the higher-level automation device. Featuring differential inputs, the input channels of the EtherCAT Terminal share a common, internal ground potential. Consolidating four channels into one housing, the EL3024 optimizes space efficiency within the automation setup.
The EL3024 is equipped with detection mechanisms to identify open lead or overload conditions.
